The resort is on the river, so you can kayak or paddleboard from their own pier. The restaurant was very good value with a surprisingly wide variety of meal and drink choices. It was large, open and often quite busy. We had 2 rooms. Both rooms were spacious and clean. Both had safes, which was important to us. Really nice pool, with waterfall. The staff were friendly and helpful. Confusion over the transit from our previous hotel meant our bags travelled separately. All dealt with, no issue. We really enjoyed our river paddling which was both fun and relaxing. A lot less mosquitos than I thought there might be by a river!

The location is great; the resort is very big, with a beautiful garden round about, with a big pool and with elevated rooms and walkways on wooden planks since the ground is always wet The Restaurant is big, the food very good and not expensive. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Everything! The setting is absolutely beautiful — surrounded by lush greenery with the serene river right at your doorstep. It feels peaceful and tucked away, but still close enough to explore the sights of Bohol. The staff are warm, attentive, and always ready to help, which really made the stay feel special. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to blend with the natural surroundings. I especially loved relaxing on the balcony listening to natures calls. The food was delicious, with a good mix of local and international options, and dining by the river was a highlight. There are also plenty of activities available — from river cruises to simply enjoying the grounds and pool — so it’s easy to spend a few days here without ever feeling the need to leave. Overall, an excellent resort if you’re looking for nature, comfort, and a touch of luxury all in one. Highly recommended!
“Wonderful Family-Run Resort by the River”

We stayed at Loboc River Resort for six days and had a fantastic experience. From arrival to departure, the reception staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. You can clearly feel this is a family-run place, and it makes a difference in the atmosphere. The setting is beautiful, right along the river, with lovely swimming pools and plenty of nature around. During our stay, we went fishing, spotted monkeys, rented SUP boards and a pedal boat, and joined a tour — there was always something fun to do. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The restaurant is decent — not outstanding, but good enough for a pleasant meal on-site. We noticed that many guests seemed to stay only a night or two, but we really enjoyed spending almost a week here and exploring everything the resort and surroundings had to offer. Overall, this resort is highly recommended if only for the exceptionally friendly staff, who made us feel right at home.
