We stayed here for one night whilst hiking the GR221. It is an amazing building and location and a brilliant and unusual place to stay. Our room was massive and comfortable, with a good bathroom and shower. We had a very peaceful sleep. The restaurant on site was ok - very busy and staff seemed rushed and made a mistake on our bill. There was no a la carte option although the man on reception said there was a daily menu or a la carte. Breakfast was very good though with lots of choice and plentiful. Overall it was fun to stay in a monastery and we had a very comfortable night.

Sanctuari de Lluc is an amazing place, an abbey steeped in history in a beautiful natural setting with abundant bird song. We stayed two nights and it was great to see the sun set and hear the place fall quiet after the day trippers had gone.

+ Positives: • The location is absolutely incredible—steeped in history, with an atmosphere that feels almost timeless. • The surrounding scenery is breathtaking and perfect for long hikes. • The staff were friendly throughout. • The hotel is simple but absolutely worth it—comfortable and with nothing to complain about. - Downsides: • They don’t seem to fully understand vegetarianism—I often found ham on my sandwiches, and the dinner options were very limited. • Construction work started at 7 AM, which was a bit too early for a peaceful morning.

The hotel is situated in a very beautiful area - perfect for outdoor activities. Since the hotel is located in a monastery, the atmosphere is very special.

Historic buildings, the museum was exceptional, all set in amazing mountain scenery. Dinner in the huge refectory was lovely and half board very good value. The dining room staff gave very good service. Thankyou
