Breakfast was good. Just the right portion size. Location of hotel is superb with beautiful views all round. Evening meal also good with efficient service.

The Eagle is an impressive building and probably needs a lot of maintenance but unfortunately there are areas of the Hotel and the rooms that need that maintenance but have not got it, some TLC required. Bar and food are reasonably priced and the staff are pleasant.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location,the room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable ,plenty of tea and coffee in the room ,the breakfasts were very good ,2 days of our stay it was a buffet style breakfast and on our last day we ordered off the very ample breakfast menu ,the staff were very friendly and made it feel like a home from home ,lastly we had a Sunday carvery which was excellent in both variety and value for money ,we will definitely be coming back sometime in the future ,Ken and Jenny
