Storybook cottage setting. Above the banks of a beautifully fast flowing river, with views of rolling hills and fields, surrounded by peaceful lanes. Tranquil and calming. A great bolt-hole for cycling the inclines and valleys around Llangollen. Snowdonia within a daytrip’s reach. Impressively clean, and good working facilities particularly for an old and historic residence.

An idyllic spot with views and sounds of the river below. Lovely landscaped terrace and excellent hot tub. The property had everything you needed to make a proper meal and plenty of kitchen equipment, a home from home. It was spotlessly clean with excellent towels and linen and lots of nice touches such as plenty of lamps, books and games. It was truly a relaxing space and we absolutely loved our short stay. A special thank you to the owner who was so accommodating and a great host! We would most definitely return!

I liked the secluded location of the cottage and the sounds of the running river being so close and being surrounded by countryside.
