We booked a short break to celebrate a family members big birthday and an early Christmas together. River View, was ideal for 5 adults, with 3 double bedrooms (which, we've struggled to find in the past) and a fabulous large open plan ground floor Ideal for spending time together. The kitchen had everything we needed, the dishwasher meant no one was left doing the washing up. Michelle was great at getting touch, reaching out to us to check we were ok, as storm Darragh hit. We we're fine and more than happy staying warm and cosy at the house while the wind and rain persisted outside. Once the weather improved we enjoyed a morning coffee on the terrace, listening to the river and a walk around the village and to the Aqueduct. We found the property spotlessly clean and fresh smelling, We each had plenty of towels with spares available. There were cleaning products in the kitchen, very handy! The beds were comfy. The house was warm, with hot water on tap, no waiting for the shower to warm up! We thought the movement sensor lights in the hall and stairs were a great idea.
