It's rare to come across a really unique property that doesn't quite do it like the rest, but surpasses other experiences as a result. Firstly, it's huge. I mean, really big. We took our pup and he was like a kid at Disneyland with all the space! We loved the period detail. The house must have a rich history and we'd have loved to have known more about it. But suffice to say, it was a joy discovering all the nooks, crannies, curious objects, and the surrounding garden and woodlands. The view from the bedrooms and kitchen is bucolic heaven, and the fluffy dressing gowns a real unexpected treat. There is something of a timecapsule feel about it but there's also a massive TV, decent wifi, and a well equipped kitchen. I loved having a separate dining room - a rarity. And it was a joy to have a real fire in the colossal living room. It's also well-located for exploration of the Black Mountain end of the Brecon Beacons.
