Everything! The remoteness, the cosiness, the facilities. The lodge had everything you could need, the bed was ridiculously comfy, the shower was hot, the natural pool was beautiful. I couldn't rate the lodge highly enough!

Fantastic location for peace, quiet and getting away from it all. Completely isolated and we didn't see another soul, which suited us for this particular weekend. The facilities suited us and gave us everything we needed. Nice touches in the interior that made it all feel special. We always love to be able to cosy up a space with a wood burner and the bed was very comfortable. A great night's sleep. Lucky to have a clear night sky and enjoy a great view of the stars. Hardly any light pollution which is rare these days!

The perfect, peaceful location was ideal to recharge your batteries. The amazing lodge has everything anybody could need for a relaxing holiday. The bed is perfect for a peaceful nights sleep.

If you stay anywhere, stay at Serenity Lodge! On arriving, having the wheelbarrows to transport our things to the lodge was an experience and really made us giggle. Through the woods, crossing the bridge and seeing the lodge was beautiful. Set all on it's own with only the sounds of the birds, the trickling water and the odd cow was incredibly peaceful. The lodge itself has everything you could need. We cooked outside on the open fire every night, sat under the stars on the terrace wrapped up in the cosy blankets. The bed is to die for! So comfy and cosy and to wake up and look out at the view with a coffee in hand is definately going to be missed. I must say I was a little apprehensive about the composting toilet but it is so well done and super clean. Carly and Paul are incredible hosts and provided plenty of information before arriving. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.
