The couple that own and run the hotel Amy and James! Fantastic welcome and couldn’t do enough. Amy set out a breakfast for myself due to an early start and James setting up an iron and board, they were faultless, exceptional hosts. Easy parking off the main road, access in and out was by key so came and went as I pleased. Had a double bedroom with lake view, very comfortable and spotless, big shower and bedroom was really cosy so had a fantastic sleep. 15 min easy walk into Llanberis from the hotel or you could catch the bus literally just outside from the hotel so easy access either way and I love a walk. It was a really great stay 😊

We had a delightful stay at the Lake View Hotel. Amy and James are wonderful hosts who make you feel instantly welcome, the hotel truly feels like a home away from home. The communal areas are incredibly comfortable, perfect for relaxing, playing games or enjoying a brew or a drink. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Every morning we enjoyed a freshly cooked breakfast, which we preordered the night before. Amy was fantastic throughout our entire three night stay. She was always on hand to help with anything we needed and gave us excellent recommendations. We also highly recommend Sawna Bach by the lake in Llanberis for a relaxing Sauna and cold dip, a wonderful experience and The Slate Y Llechan for a fantastic Sunday dinner. We also really enjoyed visiting Penrhyn Castle which is well worth a visit. We couldn't have asked for better hosts or a better base for our trip. Highly recommended!
