The hotel is a real gem, it is a lovely oasis in the heart of the city and the staff set it apart from any other hotel we have stayed in. We had the castle view room and it was beautiful and spacious with a fantastic view of the castle and a lovely little terrace. The bed was so big and extremely comfortable. The bathrooms are very modern and stylish with Molton Brown toiletries and the push button shower was amazing. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to everything. The breakfast was great, lots of choice including healthy options and a good choice of cooked eggs and everything was cooked perfectly and was very delicious. The staff are so friendly, helpful and professional and nothing is too much trouble. One in particular went above and beyond, a man on reception most mornings during our stay, he spent time to discuss the best places to see and visit and pulled up a map on the computer so we could get a good idea of everything. On the day of our departure, the city was gridlocked so he arranged for the car we had booked to the airport to meet us at a convenient location for us to be able to get out of the city easier and he took us to meet him in the electric cart. Although it has four stars, it definitely feels like a five star hotel, with little touches that make a real difference and extremely accommodating and welcoming staff.

The hotel is located centrally in the pedestrianised area. I needed assistance getting to the hotel as I am disabled. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and my arrival and departure were seamless.

The AS Boutique hotel was one of the best we have stayed in and we do a lot of city breaks. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we entered and the staff remained excellent throughout. The rooms were spotless, as was the whole hotel, our (208) was larger than we expected and felt very luxurious. The location so the hotel could not be better....about two minutes from the main square.
