Amazing location in Lixouri: quiet and central, being a walking distance from the city center with all the restaurants , supermarkets, etc.. There is a lot of free parking next to the villa The view from the villa is awesome: combination of the sea and mountains The host (Manos) is lovely, approachable, responded immediately to any request The cleaning service was very good Great value for money and we will be happy to come back It is a super location to day trips to all of Kefalonia's attractions ,

Firstly, Manos was fantastic. A very likeable chap who made us feel very welcome. We arrived a little early to the house, but he was very accommodating and let us put our things in and sat with us on the patio by the pool and went through everything with us while the cleaners finished preparing the house (which included a fresh basket of fruit and a very drinkable bottle of local wine) The house itself was spotless, modern, and comfortable. The pool, again spotless and is a decent size with comfortable loungers, umbrellas, and giant bean bags to relax on. The house is set in a small gated community type setting, and each house has plenty of parking space out the front. Location wise, it was spot on for us. A short walk (5-10 minutes) into the local town of Lixouri. Very pretty, lots of restaurants, tavernas, ice creams and shops etc. Also, the ferry runs from Lixouri every half hour or so to and from the capital Argostoli, roughly €3 per person plus €3 per car, very convenient. Overall, we loved our holiday to Kefalonia and will most likely look to go back. When we do, we shall certainly be giving Manos a call to stay at Ionian Village again. Thank you very much for an enjoyable stay Manos!

Second time staying here. 1st time stayed in 2 bedroom apartment and this time in a villa with private pool. Exceptionally clean, beautiful views, friendly owner and cleaner. Easy walk to Lixouri town and square with lots of restaurants, cafes and some bars. The square has a lovely vibe at night. Short drive to the lovely red sand beaches of Xi and Megas Lakkos. Can hop on the ferry to the capital Argostoli for a change too, which is definitely worth a visit. The ferry in the summer runs every 30 minutes from 06.30 am until about 01:00 am. I will be coming back and staying here again for sure.
