we loved the windy drive through the orchard to reach the house in a tranquil setting with lots of charm. a two back in time. the greeting from Anja was so warm. we were given delicious home made cider which was lovely. the breakfast provided for us was perfection. we loved the little dining room full of character and we enjoyed chatting with Anja very much.

Anja is the perfect hostess and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. La Boursaie is wonderfully old fashioned and offers the peace and serenity of a time before social media and the hectic of modern life. Highly recommended.

The breakfast was very fresh using local produce of the region. The host was very hands on making sure we had all we needed. Had the weather been a little kinder we would have been seated outside - just a wonderful location.
