The villa was very very very clean. Probably one of the cleanest we have ever seen.The villa itself is super quiet and secluded. The owners are very helpful, friendly, warm-hearted and guest minded. The fridge was filled with some fruit and drinks upon our arrival which was a very friendly and welcoming gesture. We also got some tips for nice local restaurants. Our two small children (1y and 3y) enjoyed being outside. It was great that the area around the villa is fenced-in, so you know they are fine. We felt very welcome and had a wonderful restful week.

This is one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. The property has recently been converted from an old farm building by the family with great care and attention to detail, and to a very high standard. The owners, Katrin & Darko met us on arrival and were extremely welcoming. Darko took time to show us walking routes and they also recommended local restaurants and wineries which were fantastic. The property, set in a small hamlet with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, is about a 10 minute walk down hill to Livade. Livade is a small village with restaurants and a mini market, within easily reach of Motovun and ideally situated as a base to explore Istria. We wish we could have stayed longer!
