We had stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon (when it was known as Country Castle Hotel and in different ownership) so it is a special place for us and we were not disappointed on this return visit. The hotel has been sympathetically updated and the decor was wonderful. Julie and Patrick made us feel very welcome. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. Although there were two flights of stairs to get to the room, it wasn't a problem for us. The food was excellent, with a good range of options for breakfast. The food at breakfast and dinner was superbly cooked. The day room offered a quiet place to sit and enjoy complimentary tea or coffee.

Loved this place .it was exceptional food the breakfasts were just perfect. Very friendly owners. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. could not believe our luck, especially with the price that we paid plus the hosts were really friendly and welcoming and the hotel it self is just amazing. can not recommend this place enough .

The Highlights are definitely the service and the venue, the hosts are welcoming and extremely kind, the venue offers a massive space and garden to relax. The vintage character of the interior design gives personality. We loved it!
