The hotel is surrounded by a great selection of restaurants and bars, all quite lively. There is also Eduardo VII Park nearby, and Calouste Gulbenkian Museum—along with its beautiful garden—is a must-see. The hotel strikes a balance between classic service and a touch of modern urban style, making it comfortable for both younger and older guests. The rooms are compact but equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. An explanatory manual would be helpful to understand how the lighting and curtain controls work, but after a bit of trial and error, we figured it out. Breakfast is buffet-style, with the added option to order your favorite eggs from the chef. The friendly staff will also bring your preferred coffee or tea upon request. All in all, it was a very nice experience.

The hotel is not in the center but is in a lovely neighbourhood with restaurants and parks. It takes about 15-20 minutes to reach the center in a taxi. It has been recently renovated and decor was splendid, the beds comfortable and the soundproofing is decent. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant and cocktails sublime. What stood out most for me was how friendly and helpful the staff were. Highly recommend!
