The host opened the doors remotely during a WhatsApp call and the keys were found inside the apartment itself. The flat was fairly spacious with a well-equipped kitchenette, including some basic supplies and cleaning products, as well as a variety of crockery, cutlery, utensils and cookware. Very speedy wifi and generally quiet at night but excellently located, close enough to the metro and a variety of tram/bus services - very short walk to the seafront. Simple heating controls and hot water on demand. Generally well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged.

Perfect location for exploring the city, this was the main selling point for us. Ideal base as close to the coast, historic Alfama, and central enough to all surrounding districts. The apartment was clean, spacious, pleasant, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need.
