Amazing continental breakfasts with lots of choice and freshly baked products each morning. Lovely comfy beds. Very good central location.

We loved the advice we were given by Joane about the nearby restaurants which she recommended and the places we could visit. We loved the port and delicious homemade cake, which was left out for us to enjoy in the beautiful, shaded garden when we returned after a long day in the city. We loved the homemade fritata and juices we had for breakfast. Joana said we could take anything from the house except the cook, who is definitely a keeper. All we took were wonderful memories.

What a stay - myself and all of my family stayed at Casa do Barao, as our base for my wedding week in Lisbon. From the moment we entered the property, we were met with smiley faces and felt at home right away! The complimentary cakes and port were so appreciated at the end of a long day, and I loved the quirky fashionable interiors. Was in a great location also (walking distance to so many bars, resteraunts etc)… it really was the stay of a lifetime. All my family have also said they can’t wait to go back! Thank you! :))))

The property is situated in a very central location with lots of restaurants & shops close by. We went for one of the slightly larger rooms which was very spacious & comfortable. Breakfast was good.....& freshly baked cakes to help yourself to all day was a lovely touch. The plunge pool is also a great asset considering you are in the middle of the city......a great place to chill out in between exploring places.
