The recently-renovated Casa Belmonte has comfortable accommodation just a 3-minute walk from the Marquês de Pombal Metro Station. It is located in the Portuguese capital, just 300 metres from the central Marquês do Pombal Square.
All the soundproofed rooms at the Belmonte feature air conditioning, private bathroom, flat-screen cable TV, free WiFi and a mini-fridge. Some rooms also feature balconies and a view. Daily cleaning service is provided.
Guests can try the local cuisine in one of the many restaurants available within 300 metres of the property.
The El Corte Inglés shopping centre and the Amoreiras shopping centre are a 3-minute drive and have a number of shops, boutiques, supermarkets and food courts. The Bairro Alto is Lisbon’s foremost nighttime hotspot and is an 8-minute drive away. There, guests can find a wide variety of bars and cafés. The Chiado and the Rossio historical areas are an 8-minute and a 4-minute drive, respectively.
The Lisbon International Airport is a 15-minute drive from the guest house.

This is the best room at Belmonte and has views of the city hills and Tejo River. Guests can see the São Jorge Castle, the Rua Augusta Arch, the Santa Justa Lift and the São Pedro de Alcântara Garden. Ideal for couples, this room has a queen size bed (160 cm per 200 cm) and a table with 2 chairs by the window where guests can enjoy a good Portuguese wine. It is equipped with air conditioning, a desk, a wardrobe, a dressing area, a refrigerator, a flat-screen TV and free WiFi. The bathroom has an ample shower.

“Lovely staff and rooftop views!”

Very clean, lovely staff and great communication. Large lift to get to 5th floor. Rooftop view was amazing and they had a shared kitchen to cook in that was kept very tidy and clean. Room had all you needed for a good couple of days stay! They even had the multi-port wall plugs either side of the bed which was great when you have lots of electronics to charge. Plenty of public transport nearby, supermarket and restaurants.

I, in fact, stayed 3 nights. Reception staff were charming and friendly...so nice to be greeted with a smile and a little chat!! Very homely ( in a good way) and decorated with love and a great eye for colour!! Rooms had names rather than numbers ... Tea/ coffee making facilities/ bar fridge were very appreciated. Well equipped kitchen available as well! Location was superb.. Close to the metro, 2 supermarkets and some restaurants. One of my favourite stays in Portugal. I will return ...

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Belmonte. The staff members were incredibly accommodating and helpful. The rooms are super clean and cosy, and we felt at home immediately. There is a fridge in each room as well as a shared kitchen to prepare meals in, which we appreciated. The location is a great starting point for exploring Lisbon and we will definitely return the next time we visit the city.
