Lovely location, nice easy walk to town, local market on Tuesdays & Saturdays. Very good transport links with larger train station nearby. Incredibly easy to get to locals shops, supermarkets etc. local market on Tuesdays & Saturdays. Lots of beautiful structures to visit. Small mini markets on every corner so easy for those immediate water bottles. Oriente metro station takes you to Vasco de Gama shopping centre and food court. We travelled out to Tomar to visit Templar Knights castle. Hard Rock lovely for lunch and AC ! Time Out Market very similar to Borough Market London but better vibes. Shopping excellent. Boat trips cheap & fun. Great views of the Sea farers station and magnificent red bridge.
