Very welcoming host, lovely peaceful location, and really comfortable accommodation. All topped by all needed to prepare a fully cooked breakfast.

Location a little difficult to find. Breakfast was amazing. We couldn't possibly have eaten everything made available.... we didn't realise breakfast was included !! Would love to have spent a few more days for sightseeing.

From the very beginning, communication was very clear and timely. We had absolutely no trouble at all finding the location thanks to Nicola’s excellent directions, and Erich met us on arrival to greet us, show us around, and tell us how things worked. The annex was very spacious and comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. The breakfast items provided were a welcome addition and everyone in the family had something to choose from. The beds were extremely comfy. The fireplace was loaded up with wood and ready to go, but we didn’t need to use it because it didn’t get too chilly. We didn’t have much time to enjoy the apartment since we were only there for one night, but the living area was very nicely set up and there were lots of board games and such available. The rural location is very quiet and a nice break from the city crowds. We have already recommended it to friends who plan to come watch the Edinburgh Tattoo later this year.
