It is self catering accommodation . The location is quiet and convenient for local amenities and places to visit. The cottage is tastefully furnished in a style befitting its original purpose. The bed and the sitting room furniture are very comfortable and contribute to a lovely relaxing holiday. All the crockery and kitchen equipment are of a high quality and there are several items such as cooking oil, condiments, tea bags and washing up supplies to get the holiday off to a good start.

Super location to access Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and Fife. Great facilities at Lodge which is tastefully furnished.

Beautiful old cottage-style gate lodge, renovated to a high standard. As we were fortunate to be the first rental guests everything was spotless (bar a little dust that had settled!). Helen, the National Trust estate manager, was wonderful, very approachable, communicative and went out of her way to help and solve teething problems!
