The pub, food and staff are excellent. Couldn't fault it. Lovely breakfast, one of the mornings before going to the horse racing.

This country pub/hotel was a brilliant location for our destination - within a short walk to Lingfield Racecourse. [LGW is also a short drive away]. Very comfortable twin bedded room with en-suite facilities. We had Room 7 and were very pleased with the large well appointed room, large radiator ( it was very cold outside but not inside) and all the fixtures fittings. The food was excellent, the dining room was very good and the food was great. The breakfast (which was an extra £13 pp) was excellent value for the money; freshly cooked full English and cereals, toast tea and beverages. Evening/lunch food was excellent value for money too, with a wide selection of options to suit everyone’s preferences. A young vibrant team were very attentive and looked after us very well. A well done shout out to all the serving members, in particular to Faith and Yassin , for looking after us so well, . As our stay was over the New Year period the pub, the bar and the dining areas were very busy, but the reservations for our group of 4 Adults meant we didn’t have to wait long for all the services we required. We will be back !

It is a lovely village pub and was particularly enchanting with lots of lights for Christmas. The room was also excellent.
