Pollard Cottage is wonderful. We enjoyed ourselves. Betty was very friendly. We recommend it to everyone! We would love to stay again.

The house is stunning and with very interesting history and character. The gardens are lovely to spend time in. We enjoyed hearing the church bells and the kids loved plane spotting. Everything was clean and comfortable and the host left us milk, OJ, bread and biscuits which was a lovely touch and very much appreciated after a long drive. We didn't feel like we needed for anything, kitchen well stocked with everything you need to cook and even night light torches in the bedroom which was brilliant for the kids. Had tea at the Star pub across the road and the food was very good. Huge play area for the kids too and staff were very attentive.

Pollard cottage is a paradise. Historically interesting and very comfortable. Beautiful cottage garden. The photos do not show the wonderful nature of the cottage and garden. Sitting in the garden during the day and sitting next to the logburner at night was lovely. Bett, the property manager, is so lovely. Bett ensured we were very happy and had everything we could possibly need. There were planes going over the cottage to land at Gatwick but these were not a problem to us. Overall, it was a wonderful, magical stay - we found peace at Pollard Cottage.
