It was close to Lindos and a lot of beaches. It was quiet. The landlord was really helpful.

We had a nice big clean room which our friendly hosts took us to on arrival. The bed was really comfy & the air-con worked well. The pebble beach across the road was great with good value sunbed rental & especially the lovely little beach bar.

We had a really warm welcome from Eleni who showed us around the apartment and was kind enough to lend us a beach umbrella for our stay. The apartment was spacious and had a good sized terrace, lovely comfy bed and a cooking area suitable for our needs. We like to self cater a few meals per stay and there was everything we needed. The apartment is ideally situated for exploring Lindos and the south of Rhodes island and was thoroughly cleaned daily.We had a hire car but if you walk up the hill,there is a public bus ( and an excellent supermarket). This area has seen a lot of development but Vlycha Beach is in an unspoilt oasis with a lovely garden and a small holding next door with hens and donkeys- and kittens- which shows you what it must have been like before the development. The local beach is ok- not our favourite; we drove to a small,quieter beach.
