Kinda within the very core of Lindos, which, in my point of view, IS Rhodes... we did not click on Rhodes-town, even the old town, and other locations are not attractive to stay. Hence, zooming out, in the "heart-of-Lindos-or-nothing" perspective that's the best 2-room option price-wise you may imagine. Don't even search further. Yes, there is a bar next door but where in Lindos isn't there one? And, just turning the fan or air conditionned on I wasn't hearing anything anymore, whereas I am very sensitive to that. And Mikael is responsive, warm and leaves everything cristal clear.

The Olive Tree Villa is exactly what you see in the photos. The location is great, the beds comfortable, the air conditioning works perfectly and the bathroom was clean and modern. We (2 adults, 2 teenage daughters) spent 10 wonderful days exploring Rodos and the Olive Tree Villa was the perfect base for us. In addition the contact with the owners was way better than anything we’ve experienced previously. There were extremely helpful details about getting to the property and parking and despite the wonderful labyrinthine nature of the Lindos streets and a late evening arrival, we found our way first time. In addition, the owners were regularly in contact to make sure we were comfortable and that everything was to our liking. We were also lucky enough to be staying at the same time that the owners relatives were in town and they really made us feel welcome and had loads of suggestions about places to go and where to eat. On the penultimate day we managed to lock ourselves out of the villa but, despite this being the weekend, help was on hand and within half an hour, the problem was solved. I can’t recommend the Olive Tree Villa highly enough and if we’re ever back on Rodos, it’s the only place we’d stay.

Communication with Mikael prior to and during our stay was perfect. When we asked for access 1hr early Mikael made this possible 3 hours early. Everything in Olive Tree villa is perfect. The facilities and location are perfect. Sitting and speaking with Savah, Mikael's brother, that lives next door was very useful, as he has a great knowledge of the island, and Lindos as a village. We cannot recommend too much how people should stay here, unless it prevents us coming back of course.
