Lincoln Train Station is a 5-minute drive from the Tennyson Retreat. Canwick Park Golf Club is also a short drive away, while Carholme Golf Club can easily be reached by foot.

The decor was fine and it was generally comfortable to be there .

The porperty was compact and contained everthig we needed. There were thoughtful extras like coffee, and milk, and we were impressed that there was a freezer as well as a fridge, and also a washing machine. There really was evrything we needed there. The bedrooms overlook the courtyard and were fine, and although there was not a lot of space in the single room it was fine for my purposes, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was small but adequate, and the shower was clean amd worked well.
