“Clean and Modern, but Lacking Warmth”

The hotel is in an okay location – not the best, but manageable. The building seems recently renovated: everything was clean, modern, and in working order. There’s a nice outdoor pool, but no information about it was provided, and it felt like guests weren’t really encouraged to use it. Breakfast was average, but the atmosphere was unpleasant due to the unfriendly and rather snobbish staff. It was bad enough that we chose not to return for breakfast on the second morning. Also, we’ve never stayed in a hotel where the reception staff actively avoid eye contact when you walk by – instead of greeting guests, they looked the other way. On the bright side, the room cleaner did a great job and thoughtfully left off the uncomfortable bedspread and decorative pillows.
