Check in was quick and easy as I had completed the pre check in online. Reception were friendly and accommodating. We had a family room and was a good size and clean with nespresso coffee machine and very quiet. Direct access to Lille Europe station and the city centre is a short walk away. All in all couldn’t fault.

I wasn't expecting much and just choose a hotel next to the Eurostar station. However I was surprised by the modern and fun lobby and the warm welcome of staff on arrival. Whilst the hotel is clearly an older concrete building, it has been carefully maintained. 2 layers of double glazing in the room block out road and station nose, so allows a peaceful night. There's a small bar and some self serve microwave food rather than a full restaurant but it was all of high quality. Continental breakfast was served and also met all requirements. The still or sparkling water fountain for filling bottles is a nice touch. Nespresso pods in the room for a caffeine fix.
