Hotel Overview

Offering panoramic views of the Lienz Dolomites, Hotel Moarhof is surrounded by a large garden and offers a spa area and an a la carte restaurant, the Moarhofstüberl. The hotel's own free ski bus stops right outside.
The Moarhof Hotel's spa area includes a heated outdoor pool (in summer), a Finnish sauna, a herbal sauna, an infrared cabin, and a steam bath. The relaxation area provides panoramic views of the Lienz Dolomites. Massages are offered at a surcharge.
Rooms offer free WiFi, a flat-screen cable TV, a safe, and a bathroom with bathrobes and a hairdryer.
A rich breakfast buffet is available every morning. Half-board is served in the hotel restaurant.
In the wintertime you can go skiing and cross-country skiing in the vicinity. The 36-hole Dolomitengolf Golf Course is 9 km away.
Private carport parking is available at a surcharge.

This single room offers a small double bed (140 x 200) and features a balcony, view and bathrobe.

This small single room overlooking the parking area features a work desk, a flat-screen TV and bathroom. There is no balcony.

If I could give 100 points, I would do so without hesitation. I am a very experienced traveller, but the level of care, warmth and genuine hospitality I experienced in this hotel is something truly rare. From the very first day, I felt not like a guest, but like someone truly welcome. The atmosphere was calm, elegant and deeply human. I would like to especially thank the staff of the main restaurant for creating such a warm, almost family-like atmosphere — always attentive, kind, smiling and genuinely caring. Every dinner was not only a meal, but an experience of comfort and kindness. This stay in Lienz was unforgettable, and this hotel played a huge role in that. I will absolutely return — without a doubt.

Extraordinary breakfast , a beautiful wellness area, and stylishly furnished rooms. I even received a complimentary upgrade when traveling with my dog. A lovely touch was the activity card at the breakfast table with ideas for things to do in the area. Highly recommended!
