The location was a bit hard to find but that was mainly a fault on our side (I hadnt read the note that was sent to me and I didnt expect the entrance of the size of the castello to be just a common front door🙈). After we finally got in the place it was beyond expectations. The rooms were all filled with furniture from the past which at first gave the feeling we were entering a museum. When we were shown our room and bathroom we were suprised. The bathroom (which was in a tower from the 13th century) was renovated with absolutely beautiful plasterwork. The bed were of such comfort that we felt such relieve after the travel weve had over our past week. The next morming we had breakfast which was astonishing. I've never really been a breakfast person myself but all this breakfast was delicious. My partner hoped for boiled eggs and when we sat down the hostes askes if we wanted any without asking. After breakfast and right before we left we even got our private tour around the entire castello. The gate, the garden, the kitchen in the cellar. As a history geek it felt like sinking back the ages, everything was just perfect.
