Really nice location in the middle of tea fields, close to a nice café (200 m). The host picked us up at the bus stop (make sure you arrive during check-in hours! She is a one-woman business and takes care of the rooms before), and also dropped us there the next morning to get on the bus to Alishan. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The sound of birds is spectacular. Buffet-style dinner is served at 6 for 350 and is among the meals I enjoyed most so far in Taiwan - some grilled meat, very good tofu, rice, soup and 3-5 different vegetable dishes and stir-frys. I felt nourished and very well taken care of. Thank you!

Host is super friendly amd helpful. She offered to pick us up at the bus stop in town when we arrived and also helped us to book transportation to Alishan Forest Park in the wee hours of the morning to catch the sunrise train. We enjoyed the BBQ dinner that was available. Room was rustic and the view from the back window made you feel like you were sleeping within trees. There was an awesome coffee place just a few mins away and lots of trails nearby. We truly enjoyed our stay despite us choosing this as an alternative when our initial hotel was affected by fire.

Very spacious, clean and comfortable. We appreciated the homely atmosphere and the Tsou culture. The host was incredibly helpful and communicative (over translation app) - even though we’d already checked out, she helped us when our bus to Alishan didn’t show up and later checked in to see how our day went. The food was delicious and hearty with lots of vegetable options and traditional bbq meat. We would have stayed longer if only it wasn’t already booked out!

Wonderful chalet style rooms in a homestay, which doubles up as a leather workshop! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Would highly recommend :)
