For a start this is a really nice country pub with a good ( and we found well deserved reputation ) for meals and a well kept selection of local beers.We had a lovely meal and were joined by our son’s family and their 2 dogs who soon settled under a table by the fire! There is a lovely atmosphere Our largish room in a modern building to the rear of the building was nice and warm, really tastefully furnished and very clean and fresh. A quality mattress and pillow provision and nice bedding gave us both a lovely sleep . A fridge with a small bottle of milk and some bottled water plus good quality hot drinks and scrummy biscuits …. Excellent! A good quality well -fitted, once again clean bathroom with fresh good quality towels .. All good!
