Lovely old character hotel in a prime spot beside Loch Maree. Typically Scottish, which could be seen throughout the hotel with the hotel decor and menu following through with this. We stayed for one night and although the hotel was fully booked, it didn’t appear “packed” as the guests went off and enjoyed the local area which is ideal for hiking and enjoying many local activities nearby. The room was small but perfectly adequate with everything we required for our short stay. En-suite room,everything worked as it should and was very clean with comfy beds. The manager Duncan is a character and was welcoming and attentive to the guests. He responded promptly to questions prior to our last minute stay. When we come again, we will book early to ensure that we get a room overlooking the Loch.

The manager, Duncan was an absolute star! Great staff and the hotel was in such a magical location ✨️ The food was outstanding and the breakfast was perfect! Will definitely be staying again. Xxx

The house with the view on Loch Maree was so nice, having sun for 3 days. The staff, Duncan and Anna are wonderful, so friendly, funny and charming. They give the house spirit and soul.
