Beautiful cottage very well decorated. Very comfortable and it had everything you could want for a few days away with a concious effort to use environmental products as much as possible. The bedrooms are lovely and the beds very comfortable with nice pillows. 2 wood burners! One in a lovley sunroom where you can just sit and enjoy the wildlife and listen to music. The other one in the lounge where you can relax and watch the TV in the evening. The indoor swimming pool was a bonus and we used it twice. It was a bit cold but after a few fast lengths it warmed up a bit! The hosts were very nice and were in contact as soon as I booked with all of the relevant information we needed. Ian popped in to welcome us when we arrived and told us a little bit more about the house and the area.

The owner messaged us before and gave very clear directions so finding it was easy. It was lovely and warm on arrival . There was tea, coffee, milk and locally made biscuits waiting for us so we could have a hot drink and relax immediately. The property was spotlessly clean and the décor throughout was to a very high standard. Lots of lovely extras, wee posies of fresh flowers throughout the property, up to date magazines to hand. We nearly always go away self catering and I would say this is easily the nicest, best equipped accommodation we have ever been to. Thank you for a lovely weekend.
