Convenient for the motorway yet quiet location. Room was spacious with good ensuite facilities. Beautiful views from the window. The food was delicious and the owner was charming.

I didn’t expect The Ritz but it was warm and comfortable ; and extremely clean . The dining room was well laid out wiih a super open fire . The cooking was very good indeed ! My welcome was friendly and , because I was travelling onwards through Spain to Portugal , the location close to the motorways was very convenient . Would I stay there again ? Absolutely ! I was disappointed that I was unable to book a room for my return journey at the end of this month ! But hope to be able when I return to Portugal in May .

Very charming hotel in a centuries old building. Easy to find in the village center, not far away from the motorway. The building, albeit very old, is well maintained, charming and cozy. The lady who served us – I assume she is the owner – was very friendly and helpful. The room was quite large, very clean, well heated (we traveled in Winter) and comfortable.
