The hotel is situated slightly outside Angers, about a 30-minute cycle from Chateau Angers. We had a very good welcome from reception when we checked in and our cycles were housed overnight in a storage area under the hotel. They had kindly plugged in an extension lead so I could charge my electric bike. The room was basic and the bed very small but it was all very clean. The restaurant was quite a surprise though. It turned out to be fine dining and we had lovely food and wine on the night we stayed with great service from the friendly staff.
