The hostal owner is so friendly & helpful, and the place is in the centre of the old town. Our room number 2 had a balcony overlooking the bustling Square with lots of bars & restaurant, I could have sat there all day watching the world go by! The location is so perfect, everything you would want to do is only 5 minutes walk! We also loved the bar right next door, free tapas with every drink! We also made use of the cobbler next door on the other side, he breathed new life into my husbands much loved biker boots, that he has had for 30 years! It was our first trip to Leon, after 20+ years of touring Europe, for 2 months each summer on 2 harley davidsons, and we will definitely be back! I've ready started recommending Leon to my fellow traveller friends, we loved every minute of it.

I thought it was supposed to be a 1 star hotel. Better than some 3-4 hotels I've stayed in. I will be back. Maybe even next week.

What a haven after a long day..such a beautifully appointed room the warmest of welcomes and superb position close to everything. My favorite stay on camino so far.
