Upon arrival we were informed that the H2 hotel was temporarily closed for maintenance, or at least the downstairs part. Although the room we stayed in was the room which we had booked in the H2 hotel building, the reception, the breakfast, the bar, lounge etc which we used were all part of the Hyperion hotel which is located in an adjacent but inter-connected building. The family room in the H2 hotel was good, very clean, and adequately spacious, but the breakfast in the Hyperion was truly exceptional, huge choice and great quality, very friendly and helpful staff, and great coffee! I would definately recommend the Hyperion hotel in Leipzig, and will book this hotel next time we visit this city.
