By a stroke of luck, I found the cheapest in town (at the time of my stay in early April 2026) and it was clean, new and very nice.. I was almost influenced by the negative reviews to avoid this place. And the phone number posted on Google wasn’t working either. But because the price was too good (cheapest in town at the time of my stay in April 2026) that even if it’s a little problematic, it’s a somehow a good trade-off for a short stay. So I dug the web and found their website and the contact number was provided on the website. Contacted the hostel to make sure they are in business and made a booking. Upon arrival, I found out that the place was nothing like what the negative reviews mentioned. The hostel is actually VERY CLEAN. It is NEW. And also one of the BIGGER buildings on the street. The bathroom was also BIG and SPACIOUS that you will be surprised. Every 6 or 4 person room gets a huge ass toilet. Lockers with keys provided. My room had a balcony. And the most of the rooms in the building faces Leh Palace (be sure to choose the room with landmark view). I have zero complains. Totally worth every penny. The staffs were also very friendly and accommodating. I hope nobody else is influenced by the negative reviews prior to April 2026. I am giving this thorough review because I deeply feel that this place deserves justice. Because really, it’s nothing like what the negative reviews prior to April 2026 mentioned!

Location was great, very central. Staff had very good English and were super helpful. Rooftop area lovely, decent dorm rooms with clean bathroom, private room huge with kettle and balcony and TV

The location of the hostel was very close to leh market. The all girls Dom was clean and there was warm water supply and the room was well insulated.
