I have been staying at the Puri Raja for decades. During that time there have been some changes but what remains constant is their excellent service. Gardeners, pool attendants, restaurant staff, cleaners, receptionists...all of the Puri Raja staff greet you with a smile and ready offer of assistance. They are, at all times, friendly, helpful and patient. Combine this with the beautiful central pathway, lined with a canopy of exquisite tropical foliage, the clean and well provided rooms and the beachfront breakfast views, and you have affordable perfection. I have stayed in many designer villas and other hotels that boast more stars and facilities but the Puri Raja is always like coming home for me. It is a charming traditional Balinese jewel in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Legian.
