After traveling through many wonderful regions of Italy — Rome, Venice, Milan, Padua, Assisi, Brescia — and staying in several good hotels and guesthouses, I can honestly say that B&B Partenza Funivia d’Erna in Lecco was BY FAR the most welcoming, caring, and genuinely warm experience we had during our entire trip. Antonio and his incredible team welcomed us like family from the very first moment. Their hospitality is simply extraordinary — attentive, thoughtful, and full of heart. The location at the departure point of the funivia to Piani di Erna is perfect, and the views… oh my, they are breathtaking! The Piani di Erna plateau is an absolute paradise for anyone who loves nature, hiking, and stunning mountain panoramas overlooking the Alps and Lake Como area. The B&B itself is cozy and comfortable: We also loved the restaurant and bar run by Antonio and the team — it’s clearly a beloved meeting point for locals and visitors from all over the region. The warmth and quality are evident in everything they do. Recommendation: 1000/10! If you’re looking for a truly special place in Italy where you feel at home while surrounded by incredible nature, this is it. Thank you, Antonio and team — you made our stay unforgettable!

We liked everything, beautiful location, amazing view, amazing host! I did not expect it to be this far from the town but it was totally worth it. The breakfast was more and better than we expected.
