It's a wonderful location in the old town of Lecce; an old palazzo that retains character but where the rooms are comfortable and well equipped; a very cool roof terrace; and Tullio who runs it who provides a great breakfast and is just a great source of information: where to park, where to eat !!

The owner was wonderful. He takes great pride in his work and the building, ensuring we had all the information needed for our stay. Even though we have been to Lecce many times, he told us things we were unaware of and chose two restaurants he recommended, both excellent and not touristy.

The location was very good, and the owner was helpful in responding quickly to any of our questions. We arrived by train and it was an easy enough walk from the station to the accommodation. We did get a bit lost in the lanes, but we were provided with a good hard copy map, which was helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Each day, fresh towels and drinking water were supplied. Unfortunately, we like a firm to hard bed, and this bed was spongy and soft - each to their own. The room had one window, so I felt closed in! The decor is a little dated, but for some travellers, this may be charming. Lecce old town is a beautiful place - lots of character and not too touristy. We had a great time.
