Friendly attentive and welcoming. I have done the st Malo to nice cycling tour 10 times so stayed in a variety of hotels gites and chambres d hôtes. For me it is part of the experience and never knowing what to expect. Staying at le vigeant with Alastair and Rosi was probably one of the best . It was a real pleasure and the food was outstanding. My partner and I are vegetarians and the food delivered was exactly to our taste and what we eat at home - only much much better!!! Highly recommended

Charming property in a lovely village. The food was exceptional (both Dinner AND breakfast) and deserves its own Michelin rating! The hosts were terrific and more than helpful (for washing clothes and generally making us welcome). I would recommend the Maison du Verger to everyone. Thank you for a great stay!

Nothing but praise for Keri and Alistair in the running of Maison du Verger. Beautiful house, comfortable room with en-suite shower. Alistair clearly loves cooking and food presentation and our breakfast was very tasty and nicely put together. The personalised welcome note and chocolates were a nice touch - also a reminder to come back again :-) We loved Tomo the dog.

Keri and Alistair are warm and friendly hosts and they provided some lovely touches during our stay. The 3 course dinner and breakfast were amazing, homemade, tasty and they were able to fully accommodate my husband's gluten intolerance, which we greatly appreciated. The bed and bedding were top hotel standard - comfortable and pressed white. The room was nice and the in room cafetiere and equipment were very nice. Great shower and nice toiletries. All in all we loved it and highly recommend it.
