Housed in a former 18th-century paddlewheel mill, which later became a marble factory, La Bastide Rose has been welcoming guests for 25 years under the benevolent care of Poppy Salinger. Situated on the banks of the Sorgue River, this idyllic residence boasts a private island preserved in its wildest state, an enchanting sculpture park and a captivating dive into history thanks to the Pierre Salinger Museum.

One of the most extraordinary hotels I have stayed at. First and foremost it is family run. Go with the flow or you will miss the point. Great food, great breakfast, the grounds, sculptures, pool and the lived in house, absorb you.

Wonderful place that feels outside of space and time. Art and nature are overwhelmingly present, creating a peaceful atmosphere that is hard to describe. Hope to come back soon.
