The hotel was a short walk from an excellent restaurant. The reception was exceptional and the room far exceeded our expectations. The bed was very comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for our host.

This is one of my preferred choices when in the region for business, but I would go there also for leisure. Le Puy-Notre-Dame is really a very charming village in the middle of the vineyards, Le Chai de la Paleine is a small comfortable hotel with nice rooms and a very good price for quality. Good breakfast and efficient wifi are also noteworthy.

Le Puy Notre-Dame is a very tiny village in the middle of the vineyards. Le Chai de la Paleine is the perfect location to explore the area, but also for business trips. Rooms are comfortable, wifi efficient, the owner was helpful in finding a restaurant in the nearby town of Doué-la-Fontaine. Highly recommended!
