The location is the reason that you would stay here. when all of the tourist have hopped back onto there coaches, you have the entire mount to your self and it is magical. the room is very clean and well equiped. although please bear in mind that this is an old building with thin walls and windows. you will need ear plugs for a good night sleep from the noise of the street and the hallway. the food was amazing, we went for the breakfast and dinner package and it did not dissapoint. breakfast was continental with some cooked bacon and eggs. dinner was a choice from the resturants menu and we did not have a single bad meal and all staff were friendly.

It is in the perfect spot along the main street. Very close to everything and right in the thick of the action. We loved the ceiling of our room - exposed timber beams and white plaster. We also loved the old lead windows and their hardware.

The Mouton Blanc is a hotel inside Le Mont Saint-Michel, which is very small. The rooms are not large but enough for a pleasant stay. They were clean, tidy and very nice with a distinctive wood frame look to it. The windows open to the main street, but at night there is no one around, so its very quiet.

A bit run down and renovations taking place, although we could look past all that so we could stay on the Mont for the night. Very comfortable bed and clean bathroom and had the best, most peaceful sleep ever. Breakfast was great in another restaurant up the street. Really worthwhile staying on the Mont to see and feel the atmosphere after the tourists.
