The fine print
To the hotel from the train station:
- leave the train station to the main street
- walk the main street uphill, continuing in the direction you have come by train, towards the Staubbach Waterfall.
- after 500 metres, you will see Hotel Staubbach on your left-hand side. (If you pass the church you have gone too far.)You can also take the bus to the hotel (direction Stechelberg), which stops opposite the train station. Get off at the first stop and proceed for a few minutes on foot.There are no taxis in Lauterbrunnen, but you can order a taxi in advance from Garage Gertsch in the next village.

The hotel is located in a magnificent spot, offering breathtaking views from the balcony. There's plenty of shared space available for guests to enjoy, including a terrace, picnic area, kitchen, and more. It's truly the best place to stay in Lauterbrunnen. And it's worth mentioning that the staff are incredibly friendly, which made the entire stay even more delightful.

Hotel Staubbach is truly a gem in Lauterbrunnen! The view from the hotel is absolutely incredible—waking up to the stunning waterfall and valley scenery was unforgettable. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is warm and welcoming. A lovely bonus is the free coffee and beverages available to guests at all times, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to soak in the beauty of Lauterbrunnen with great hospitality
