Liza “Lovely traditional hotel”

We loved the traditional feel of this hotel. It’s a lovely building in a very convenient location but please be aware Lausanne is extremely hilly - if you arrive by train and have large luggage, you should consider a taxi from the station. We had a fab 4th floor room with big balcony and a view of the lake - see pics. There is a small fridge and coffee machine in the room with pods replenished daily and room was cleaned every day. Comfy beds and a couple of extra chairs - just a nice comfy and large room. When we checked in we were given a Lausanne travel card which provided free transport within certain zones - it covers you to Montreux.

Very good location for train station and metro. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Small shady garden to sit in and read your book!
