Tiny little cottage that suited us as a base for the area. Lovely rural location but if you are big people it would be too cramped. Warm and cosy with a good kitchen. Lovely bonus of wine, scones and cream which we really appreciated. Bring supplies with you as there are no close markets or restaurants.

The lodge provided a perfect base to venture out from, and the view from the rear of the property is a pure relaxing pleasure. Melissa (host) is a very likeable person and it was a pleasure dealing with her. My stay was mainly to explore the area on bike and get some well needed exercise. The weather for my week was perfect and made the experience so much more enjoyable.
