From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by its cozy, rustic charm and thoughtful touches that made the stay feel both luxurious and homey. What truly sets this place apart is the setting. Mornings started with birdsong and a steaming mug of coffee overlooking the fields, and evenings ended under a sky full of stars with the soft glow of fairy lights strung across the hut. Absolute tranquility. The hosts were gracious and attentive without being intrusive — fresh bread and eggs awaited me on arrival,It’s clear they’ve poured love into creating this retreat. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, close to nature but with all the creature comforts, this shepherd’s hut is pure magic. Highly recommended for couples, solo travelers, or anyone needing a reset

The property is located in a quiet area; however, Kate provided very clear details on how to get to it. On arrival, we happened to meet Kate, who was very friendly and welcoming. There is also a lock box to access the property keys. As soon as you look around, it's evident that not only has the property been built to a very high standard, but it has also been designed with so much and comes with everything you need. There are clear instructions on how to use the facilities, such as the hot tub and wood fire, and Kate ensures these are pre-stocked. We were not lucky enough to see the wallabies, but the view over the fields is stunning and exactly the type of quiet, relaxing break away from the city we were looking for. Finally, I can't speak highly enough of Kate as a host. She very kindly provided some condiments before our arrival, and the eggs were a lovely touch. We will definitely be back again when down in this part of the world!
