This is a magical place... The location is superb - from the tranquil garden or the balcony of your bungalow you look out over endless terraced rice fields across the hillsides and valley beyond. The hosts are some of the nicest folk you could hope to meet - ready to assist with anything you need from arranging a guide to cooking a packed lunch or telling you about the local area. Also the food... Wow! My favourite breakfast option was the noodle soup but the pancakes are also stellar. Evening meals are a feast - multiple dishes all cooked fresh often using vegetables grown right on the property. It's simply delicious. The area is superb to discover on foot with paths leading right from the garden - from a gentle stroll to an adventure into the mountains and forest you're in the best place to explore. Rooms are airy, spacious and spotlessly clean, with fresh white linen and towels, balconies and private or shared bathrooms depending on your booking. I genuinely loved staying here and was sad to leave. I can't recommend Lapantan highly enough - Vietnam is a charming place but this really stands out.

Wonderful location, unbelievable food freshly prepared by Gien, peaceful surroundings out of the main stream. Very good motorbike exploring trip with Nan. Do not think anymore, just go and you will not regret it! Thanks for everything
